I was promised cheap, dependable food in the burbs. Took me five weeks to find a place that finally delivered.
Surprisingly good coffee as well - $2 unlimited refills beats most $5 hipster brews. -

Found on yelp had good reviews and priced looked reasonable. Got to the diner and it looks very run down and parking is a slim one way small alley that opens to the road. Have to carefully back out because you can't the road due to neighboring fence.
Place looks so rundown. So much so that i was about to leave but felt bad because I made a large order. Glad I didn't leave. Got inside and it's clean, staff friendly and food was delicious! Picky eaters ate all their food and super affordable. We had a large party and their food comes with extras. I e had 11 people, I ordered 7 plates and we had more than enough food to get seconds. -

Place is great. Came in and the owner was working with his daughters. You could tell they were enjoying their time with each other and it made the demeanor really nice.
I ordered some regular breakfast food and it was out in like 3 minutes. Really nice quick service. I will be back! -

Great little diner, fairly priced, very nice staff. Everyone needs their local breakfast spot for more than sandwiches - this it.

My friends and I were passing through Stamford on our way to Rhode Island. We just wanted some quick breakfast foods. When you walk in, you can see Chef's Diner looks like any other diner with seating with barstools and booths.
The menu is fairly extensive with typical breakfast and lunch items. I got the Yankee omelette and my friend got the French toast. The omelette also came with home fries and toast. The amount of food that was given was very generous and at the price we paid, it was very affordable.
Overall, this diner has good, cheap food if you're looking for a quick bite. Nothing special, but filling food nonetheless.
